You Don’t Have to Wait

Trevor began helping people in Philadelphia at eleven, with his parents alongside him. His story offers young people a concrete example of noticing a need, asking for help and taking a first step.

What a beginning can look like

For a student today, that beginning might be a school collection, a volunteer project or an idea shared with a trusted adult. Trevor works with organizers to choose examples and a tone that fit the audience’s age, with room to think about what they care about and how they can contribute.

Plan for the young people in your audience

Share the audience’s age range, the setting and any projects or ideas they are already considering. Tell Trevor what you want them to take away from the event.

Shaped for your event

Every talk is shaped around your audience, your event and what you want people to take away. Trevor works with organizers to choose the stories, emphasis and format that fit.

What do you hope people take away from hearing you?

I want them to leave believing they can make a difference. Small choices add up, a good one or a bad one. I've made both. But even the small good ones can set off a ripple. And that's what I want them to hold on to.
